We stayed here last minute when our accommodation fell through. It was £100/room, so more than we’d normally pay, but it worked out well. Very central and lots of restaurants around in the walking distance. The breakfast is not included and works out about £8, but is so wide-ranging and delicious. The eggs are cooked in front of you and there is so much fresh fruit etc. I couldn’t have had a nicer feed for the day ahead.
Still has to be of the best places to stay in central cape town the service is exceptional, clean rooms, the meals are of high quality, the staff makes the establishment what it is. The gym is an added bonus. All my requirements were catered for. Best value for money
We had a lovely stay - the hotel is clean, the room spacious enough and the service, from foyer to room service, excellent. We were on an unexpected trip, and the hospitality of the City Lodge was so welcome after a strenuous week. The service, the meals, the friendliness and helpfulness of all we engaged with, really meant a lot at the time, We'll certainly love to stay there again.
Stayed for a night at the beginning and again at the end of my holiday. Great location. All of the reception and restaurant service people were very helpful and pleasant. I ate from the restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Food was good.
Excellent value for money. We were impressed by the friendly yet professional staff, the yummy breakfast and lovely room! Covid protocols in place, we felt safe. Easy access to the Waterfront. I'll be happy to stay there again - was a pity to check out after only 1 night.
