HPCA is a non - profit Association established in 1988 with nearly 200 Member Hospice sites throughout all 9 provinces of South Africa.

Our Vision is: "quality Palliative Care for all" and our Mission is: "to promote quality in life, dignity in death and support in bereavement to all persons living with a life-threatening illness by supporting member and partner organisations".

What is Palliative Care? Palliative Care is an approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing life - threatening illnesses, through the prevention and relief of suffering by means of early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, physical, psychosocial and spiritual. (WHO 2002) Community and Corporate Support: Hospices rely on community support (funding and volunteers) and financial assistance from organisations such as City Lodge because care is usually free to over 106,000 patients.

Food & Trees for Africa (FTFA) has 21 years of greening experience through internationally recognised programmes.

Started in 1990, FTFA is a social enterprise that contributes to sustainable development through greening, climate change action, sustainable natural resource management and permaculture food security programmes. FTFA has distributed over 4 million trees, facilitated the creation of thousands of organic food gardens for the poorest and launched the first carbon calculator, the Climate Change Leadership Awards and the Carbon Protocol of South Africa.

Working in partnership - and with the support, endorsement and cooperation of government, the private and public sectors, aid agencies, organisations, media and individuals - FTFA implements: Trees for All, Trees for Homes, Bamboo for Africa, Food Gardens for Africa and EduPlant.
These programmes lead to healthier lives for impoverished communities, more sustainable green environments and increased environmental awareness. SA Golf Development Board is a non-profit organization that has a network of coaches and officials that help develop the game of golf in the cities and many other remote areas in the country. They operate in 9 regions and have the capacity to coach 2500 children per week in these regions. Without the assistance of various sponsors and donors, the SAGDB would not be able to reach out to children and develop the game of golf. SAGDB has Section 18A Donation Tax Exemption status and we urge other corporates out there to support this wonderful cause! This organisation founded by Jarrod Davidoff is a Christian ministry with worldwide influence focused on raising leaders. CLHG’s sponsorship enables the Davidoffs and their team to meet with local community leaders and visit schools to get permission to come back for their city-wide schools’ campaign. The six schools they are currently working with reach communities within 90 minutes of Hazyview and Nelspruit in Mpumalanga.

A daily programme in each school runs from 7am until around 2pm, during which time Save the World Foundation members share messages of hope and inspiration in the assembly message, share leadership growth tools in classroom sessions, and counsel an average of 50 learners per school per day, each suffering from various challenges.

The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) is a public benefit organisation that aims to provide people facing cancer with information, day-to-day help, and the emotional support they need in the communities where they live.

Cuppa for CANSA is an initiative that invites corporates, organisations, schools, and individuals to host a social gathering in order to raise funds for CANSA as it runs its care and support programmes at CANSA Care Centres. CLHG is aware of the devastating impact of cancer on many families in our communities, and individual hotels within the group are encouraged to host Cuppa for CANSA events.
