City Lodge Hotels is making sustainable travel more accessible by installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at eight properties across South Africa. Rolled out over the past two years in partnership with Chargify, the stations are located in key travel hubs and are compatible with all new EVs sold locally. Guests can simply plug in using their own cables, with no booking required. The initiative forms part of the group's broader sustainability strategy, supporting the growing shift towards electric mobility while enhancing guest convenience. Travellers can recharge their vehicles while enjoying hotel amenities, including dining, WiFi and meeting facilities, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for both leisure and business visitors.
