About Counting Crows
If you were 16 when Counting Crows released their first album you’re 46 years old now! Formed in 1991 and releasing their first album in 1993, August and Everything After, Counting Cross is a multi-Grammy Award winning alternative rock band hailing from San Francisco, California.
Their first album sold a whopping 7 million copies in the United States alone. This is an impressive feat considering there was no such thing as digitally downloaded music back then. Their second album, Recovering the Satellites, reached number one on the US Billboard Top 200 chart.
The band consists of the instantly recognizable lead singer Adam Duritz, two guitarists David Bryson and Dan Vickrey, drummer Jim Bogios, keyboardist Charlie Gillingham, bass guitarist Millard Powers, and multi-instrumentalist David Immergluck.
Some of the Counting Crows’ biggest hits that they’ll more than likely be blaring out at the concerts include Mr. Jones, Round Here, Big Yellow Taxi, Accidentally in Love, A Long December and others.
