Who is JP Cooper? 

JP Cooper is an English singer and songwriter. He is best known for featuring on the Jonas Blue single “Perfect Strangers”, which went platinum in the UK. His follow-up solo single was “September Song”, which also reached the top 10 in the UK charts. 

Cooper has released two studio albums, “Raised in Flames” (2016) and “She” (2019). His music has been described as “soulful pop” with “a touch of R&B”. He has been praised for his vocals, songwriting, and live performances. 

Cooper has toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, and North America. He has also performed at major festivals such as Reading and Leeds, V Festival, and Wireless Festival. Now, for the first time, JP Cooper is hitting the South African shores as part of his first-ever world tour.

JP Cooper is performing in Cape Town as well as several other venues while in Mzansi. On Saturday, 26 August you can catch him at the Parklive Festival in Johannesburg. On Sunday 27 August, he’ll bring his musical skills to Durban’s Parklive Festival.
