Fans of T20 cricket are set to be treated to three enthralling matches between the Proteas and Australia in Durban, with the first contest taking place on the 30th of August at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium. It’s only the third time that the historic ground will host these two powerhouse nations, the last time being back in 2016.

More about the game

Cricket in South Africa has seen a renaissance of sorts this year, with the first edition of the SA20 competition in January igniting a fire in the hearts of fans all over the country. Cricket grounds were sold out across the provinces as fans got to witness some of the best players in the world in action. There’s little doubt that fans in Durban have experienced a rebirth of passion, and with the Aussies coming to town we’re sure to witness that passion in full force.

With the ICC Cricket World Cup taking place in October, this is the perfect opportunity for the Proteas to test their mettle against the world-class Australians, who’ll most definitely feel the same about this series leading up to the World Cup.
