FISH RIVER CANYON
When was the last time your breath was taken away? If it’s been awhile, you should head to the Fish River Canyon. What’s so special about it? Well, it’s the largest canyon in Africa and the second largest canyon in the world! Don’t stress if you’re bad with directions. At 160 km long, up to 27 km wide and around 550 meters deep, you can’t miss it; you wouldn’t want to miss it anyway.
SUNRISE IN THE DESERT
It’s not everybody’s idea of a relaxing holiday but hiking up Namibia’s iconic Dune 45 for a desert sunrise is a right of passage for anyone exploring the Namib.

ROCKING THE ART
If you’re looking for a bit of history and culture while you’re passing through Namibia, where better to visit than one of Africa’s most densely concentrated areas of rock carvings and rock paintings? The Twyfelfontein valley is home to the ultimate outdoor art museum. The UNESCO World Heritage Site has over 2,500 paintings and carvings that document how the first hunter-gatherers and Khoikhoi herders saw the world. Step back in time and marvel at these ancient treasures to get a feel for the history of Namibia and its people.
ETOSHA PAN SAFARI
Most people have been to a game reserve at some point in their lives. It usually consists of squinting through the bushes all day long until even anthills start looking like animals. Luckily in the arid Etosha, the animals crowd around the watering holes to get a much needed drink. This means that you can see much more than you can at your normal bushveld game reserve. Visit a waterhole and enjoy sightings of incredible animals like Elephant, Black Rhino, Cheetah, Lion and Leopard.
